MANILA, Philippines—A fire of still-undetermined origin broke out in a food processing plant in Taguig City around 2 a.m. on Saturday, a fire officer said.

FO1 May Mirabueno said the fire was reported at 2:40 a.m. by a security guard of Megafoods Corp., Building 6 Stall 607 inside the FTI Complex in Taguig City.

Damage was estimated at P2 million, Mirabueno said. Megafoods Corp. manufactures processed foods such as hotdogs and bacon.

The fire was put out at 4:15 a.m.
