MANILA, Philippines ? Line 1 (Monumento-Baclaran) of the Light Railway Transit was hit by power outage, a radio report said.

The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) cannot fully supply the electricity needed for the full operation of LRT 1, the report said.

It was not clear when power will be restored.

The operation of LRT line 2 (Santolan-Recto) might also be shut down after Meralco advised the LRT operators that they could only supply electricity to three of the line?s substations, the report said.
