PLDT restoration ’91 percent’ complete

MANILA, Philippines ?Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) reported that it has completed 91 percent of its landline services in Metro Manila areas affected by the recent tropical storm ?Ondoy?.

Restoration in the remaining nine percent of the metro is hampered by flood waters or by lack of power, PLDT said in an issued statement.

These include Marikina, Cainta, Taytay, Angono, Antipolo, Binangonan, Morong and Pasig.
