MANILA, Philippines -- Authorities seized P2-million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu” in a raid in Pasig City, a police official said Thursday.
Authorities raided the Royal Garden Villas at around 6 p.m. Wednesday and seized approximately 300 grams of “shabu.” They also arrested six people, led by a certain Ombai, said Chief Superintendent Lino Calingasan, Eastern Police District chief.
A caliber 40 pistol and several “shabu” paraphernalia were also seized, he said.
The suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, he said.
