MANILA, Philippines—The University of the Philippines in Diliman is not suspending classes despite the confirmation of two new cases of Influenza A (H1N1).
Dr. Betsy Enriquez, vice chancellor for student affairs, said the two H1N1 cases were confirmed by health officials over the weekend but she declined to give further details, citing patient confidentiality.
She said the two new cases were not part of the initial four suspected cases last week.
The first case of H1N1 case in the state university in Quezon city, a varsity player, is now well while the two new cases are undergoing medication at home, Enriquez said on Monday afternoon.
