MANILA, Philippines--Seven lucky people who placed their bets in different outlets in Luzon will be sharing the P180 million 6/49 Super Lotto pot, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said Monday.
PCSO spokesman, Dr Larry Cedro, said the winners placed their bets in Novaliches and Galas in Quezon City; in Taytay, Rizal; Imus, Cavite, San Juan City and Paranaque City in Metro Manila, and in Candelaria, Quezon.
He said he could not divulge the exact location of the outlets and their operators for security reasons.
They will be sharing the P180,299,930.40 jackpot or a take home prize of P25,757,132.91 each.
Sunday night's winning six number combination of 13-24-27-08-42-31, Cedro said.
"But this doesn't mean that the winners are from these places, they just placed their bets in these areas," he added.
The 6/49 Super Lotto raked in a total of P105,664,920 in sales for Sunday night.
Aside from the jackpot winners, the PCSO said at least 131,874 people won consolation prizes amounting to P35,738,000.
"This the first time this year that such a big amount was won by multiple bettors," Cedro said.
The biggest Super Lotto prize this year was P249 million in April, which was won by a bettor in Quezon City.
On Thursday, the jackpot will return to its initial amount of P16 million, Cedro added.
