MANILA, Philippines -- Police released on Thursday artist’s sketches of the three men who killed Robert Delano, chief-of-staff of Compostela Valley Representative Manuel “Wai Kurat” Zamora, in an ambush outside his Quezon City home early Wednesday morning.

Delano was shot by one of the three suspects as he was leaving his home in a blue Toyota Fortuner SUV with the “8” congressional plate as the two others stood watch. The victim died shortly after at the Delgado Hospital.

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Senior Superintendent Magtanggol Gatdula has created a task force, headed by Superintendent Franklin Mabanag of the QCPD Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU), to solve the crime, Senior Inspector Dororthy Du, officer-in-charge of the Quezon City Police Department public information office, said Thursday.

The police description of the suspects said one is medium built, brown-skinned, black haired, and was wearing a white T-shirt; another was around 27-years-old, between 5'5” to 5'6” tall, brown complexioned and black haired; and the last, slim, brown complexioned and black haired.
