MANILA, Philippines --Classes in all levels at a school in Manila were suspended and its students were evacuated Thursday morning after staff received a bomb threat, a school official said.
Michelle Laurina, executive secretary of the Paco Catholic School, said the guard on duty received a call around 9 a.m. saying that a bomb was set to explode.
A canine unit and bomb disposal experts from the Manila Police District arrived at the scene and scoured the school premises but no explosives were found.
