Heavy rains drench Metro Manila

MANILA, Philippines-Heavy rains poured over Metro Manila and neighboring areas Tuesday afternoon.

In its bulletin posted at 1:55 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are affecting Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Zambales and portions of Laguna, Batangas, Cavite, Quezon and Bataan.

Pagasa added that the rains may persist for a couple of hours.
