Manila announces road closures for June 12

A portion of Roxas Boulevard will be closed to traffic to give way for the celebration of the country’s 120th Independence Day, the Manila District Traffic Enforcement Unit (MDTEU) announced on Monday.

The MDTEU said the southbound and northbound lanes of Roxas Boulevard from Katigbak to TM Kalaw Avenue would be closed starting 6 a.m. for the flag raising and wreath laying ceremonies on June 12, Tuesday.

It also said Katigbak Drive, Independence Road and South Drive would also be closed to motorists. /cbb
