Cops nab 2 in Lucena drug sting

LUCENA CITY – Police collared two alleged big-time illegal drug suppliers here in a buy-bust operation early Friday.

A police spot report showed that anti-illegal drugs operatives arrested Ronaldo de Jesus and his partner, Elizabeth Baldonado, after the two sold crystal meth or shabu to an undercover policeman in Barangay (village) Cotta around 1 a.m.

Authorities seized from the suspects eight plastic sachets of shabu weighing 36 grams and valued at P245,000 as well as the P500-marked money used in the transaction. /kga
