Parts of QC, Rizal, Bulacan to experience power interruption

Several areas in Quezon City, San Mateo in Rizal, and Bocaue in Bulacan will experience power interruption on Thursday due to a scheduled maintenance by power distributor Manila Electric Company (Meralco).

According to a post on Meralco’s Facebook page, portions of the streets of Dona Rorie, Sarmiento, and Don Vicente in Barangay Sta. Monica in Novaliches, Quezon City will lose electricity from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. this day.

Meralco also said it will suspend power provision to the whole Ciudad Licel Subdivision in Barangay Banaba, San Mateo, Rizal from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Meanwhile, a portion of the H. Delos Santos Street from Libis-Kanan Street to Duhat Elementary School in Barangay Duhat, Bocaue, Bulacan, will also experience a power outage from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m.

Meralco said the scheduled maintenance would deal with line reconstruction as well as the installation of additional lightning protection devices along Dona Rorie Street in Novaliches, Quezon City.    /kga
