Fire hits DENR-LMB office in Manila

Fire struck the Land Management Bureau office of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in Binondo, Manila past midnight Monday.
Fire Officer 1 Ma. Theresa Dalisay said the blaze along Quintin Paredes Street began around 12:29 a.m., and has reached Task Force Bravo alarm as of this posting.
Dalisay also said that two persons – a Manila fireman and a volunteer – were reported to have sustained minor injuries as they try to douse the inferno.
Firemen were still in the area to extinguish the flames, and that an investigation will follow once they put out the fire, Dalisay noted. Gabriel Pabico Lalu, INQUIRER.net /kga
