3 murder suspects arrested in Mindanao
PAGADIAN CITY – The Western Mindanao Police Regional Office have arrested three murder suspects in separate operations in Zamboanga Sibugay and Zamboanga del Sur since Friday.
The latest to be arrested was 59-year old Asterio Lopicillo Carillo during an operation Sunday in Tungawan, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Senior Insp. Joel Galeriana, the chief of the Dinas Municipal Police Station in Zamboanga del Sur, said Carillo was accused of murder in Dinas but did not provide additional details.
Galeriana said Carillo’s arrest was backed by a warrant for the murder case he was facing at the sala of Judge Felix Rodriguez Jr.
On Friday, Anicito Bardon alias “Kidong,” 55, was also arrested in Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay. He is facing a murder case in R.T. Lim town.
On the same day, authorities arrested Junrey Managing, another murder suspect during an operation in Mahayag town in Zamboanga del Sur. Managing is facing a murder case in Tangub City in Misamis Occidental province.
All three are not eligible for bail. /atm
