Marikina cops arrest three suspected drug dealers inside a motel

The Marikina City Police’s Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a buy-bust operation on Thursday evening that led to the arrest of three suspected drug dealers inside a motel at Barangay Marikina Heights.
Those arrested at Yin and Yang Budget Rooms were identified as Cris Jean Bitonio, a 20 year old student; Bernabe Bitonio, 40 years old; and Arjay de la Rosa, 25 years old, all residents of Barangay Tumana.
Police officers seized 11 sachets containing a crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, and the P500 marked money used to purchase the illegal substance.
Also confiscated were 85 pieces of P20 bills, a digital weighing scale, a pack of small plastic sachets, lighter, scissors, and a pouch.
The suspects were taken to the Eastern Police District’s Crime Laboratory for drug testing and laboratory examination of confiscated substances.
Marikina police is readying a complaint for violation of Section 5 of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /vvp
