His father Ronel died instantly, while his mother, Susanne, died Tuesday night, while being treated in the hospital.

The other fatality, who was on board the SUV, was identified as Leoncia Mangarin, 58, a public elementary school principal in Libmanan.

Police said 10 persons were also hurt in the accident, but four of them were already discharged from the hospital as of Thursday morning.

Aisha Peña Namoro, Ronel’s cousin, said Naoki was still confined at the Mother Seton Hospital and would undergo casting for his fractured left leg.

He would also be treated after doctors found out that he was suffering from lung infection.

She said Naoki was in need of breast milk as he refuses to drink formula milk.
