MANILA, Philippines—The winner of Tuesday’s 6/49 SuperLotto barely slept all night that he lost no time claiming the jackpot, hoping to end his uneasiness over what to do with his P93.5-million win, according to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office.

PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said the winner, a retired real estate broker, claimed his check at the agency’s headquarters in Pasay City Wednesday morning for his bet on the SuperLotto’s winning combination of 10-25-30-36-37-45.

“He was watching the live draw, which we air at 9 p.m., and after the draw, he said he was restless,” Rojas said.

Rojas did not disclose the identity of the winner—a standard procedure for security reasons.

Citing a profile collected by his staff, the PCSO official said the 50-year-old father of three bet on the winning six numbers by letting the computer system generate a combination for him (called random play or lucky pick).

When asked what he would do with the jackpot, the winner said he intended to buy a house and lot for his family, the PCSO official said.

The broker also planned to donate a portion of his winnings to patients under the care of the PCSO.

Meanwhile, two bettors picked the winning combination of 4-13-19-25-29-30 for Monday’s 6/45 MegaLotto to split the P7.5-million pot, Rojas said.

One of the winners was a 37-year-old mother of three from Cavite who works at a factory there. The woman, who has been betting for over 10 years, said the winnings will ensure her children will finish their education, he said.

On the other hand, no one chose the numbers 5-6-10-15-39-40 to win the P3-million pot for Tuesday’s 6/42 Lotto draw.
