Doctor found dead in Antipolo City home

SAN PEDRO CITY – A 61-year-old doctor was found dead with a bullet wound in his head at his residence in Antipolo City, Rizal early Thursday.

A report from Supt. Serafin Petallo, Antipolo police chief, identified the doctor as Rodolfo Rabanal, who specialized in Internal Medicine.

He said a housemaid, Rosie Sabandal, found Rabanal on the floor with a gun shot wound in the head around 8 a.m. inside Valley Golf, Barangay Mambugan.

The police found a .45 caliber gun on the scene.

In a phone interview, Petallo said they did not find any sign of a possible foul play. MARICAR CINCO
