DID YOU KNOW: DOH lists 494 leptospirosis cases from Jan. 1 to March 3

A total of 494 leptospirosis cases were reported nationwide from January 1 to March 3, according to latest data from the Department of Health.

The figure was 35.7 percent higher than the 364 cases recorded during the same period in 2017.

There were 42 deaths due to leptospirosis nationwide from January to March. —Marielle Medina
