DID YOU KNOW: DBM approves at over 75,000 new teaching positions

The Department of Budget and Management has approved a total of 75,242 new teaching positions nationwide for school year 2018-19.

Of this figure, 40,642 are kinder and elementary teachers; 34,244 are in junior high school and 356 are in senior high school.

In Metro Manila, there are a total of 5,085 new teaching positions. —Marielle Medina
