Comelec sets new deadline for party-list groups

Party-list groups have until May 2 to file manifestation of intent to participate in the May 2019 elections, according to the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

The Comelec has issued Resolution No. 10313 moving the deadline from April 30 to May 2 for new and existing party-list groups to submit the documents.

During the 2016 elections, a total of 115 party-list groups were allowed to participate in the elections.
