Man nabbed for illegal drugs in Puerto Princesa

CITY OF CALAPAN – Police arrested a man for possession of illegal drugs and for violation of the election gun ban in Puerto Princesa City on Thursday.

Supt. Imelda Tolentino, Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) police information officer, said Joel Trajano, 38, was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Purok Masaya, Barangay San Miguel at around 12:50 p.m.

Police confiscated two sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth), a caliber 9mm Bryco 59, and a magazine loaded with seven live ammunition.


Also found in his possession was the P100 marked money used in the transaction. /ee
