2 suspected druggies nabbed in Marikina

Following complaints from concerned citizens, police officers arrested two people who were having a drug session in Marikina City last Wednesday.

Officers from Marikina City Police Community Precinct-4 (PCP-4) caught Nicolas Rajas and Mary Ann Lim in the act of using a crystalline substance suspected to be crystal meth or shabu in Barangay Malanday in Marikina.

Two plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia were confiscated from Rajas and Lim.

The suspects are set to undergo inquest proceedings, where charges for violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them. /je
