SC to announce 2017 bar exam results at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday

The Supreme Court (SC) will announce the results of the 2017 bar examination results at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday.

In an advisory, the SC Public Information Office said the announcement will be made by Associate Justice Lucas Bersamin, chairperson of the bar examinations this year, at the High Court’s quadrangle.

Bersamin will make the announcement after an SC special en banc session at 10:00 a.m. where magistrates will deliberate the bar exam results and passing rate.

Bar examinees took a total of eight subjects for four consecutive Sundays in November at the University of Santo Tomas (UST).

The subjects taken during the exam were Political Law and Labor Law, Civil Law and Taxation, Mercantile Law and Criminal Law, Remedial Law and Legal Ethics and Practical Exercises. /muf
