Overcast skies with isolated rain due to localized thunderstorms could be expected this Wednesday as the easterlies affect the entire country, the weather bulletin of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) showed.

Warm weather will certainly prevail all over the country, however, with temperatures likely reaching as high as 38 degrees Celsius, the state weather agency also said.

Metro Manila will feel the heat at 34 degrees Celsius while Baguio City will have temperatures of at least 16 degrees Celsius up to 25 degrees Celsius.

The 38-degree Celsius weather will be experienced in Tuguegarao City, according to Pagasa.   Faye Orellana, INQUIRER.net                        /kga
