2.1-magnitude earthquake hits Baguio

A 2.1-magnitude earthquake shook Baguio City at 2:36 p.m. on Thursday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.

Of tectonic origin, the earthquake’s epicenter 27 kilometers deep and was located 11 kilometers northwest of Baguio City.

Phivolcs reported no aftershocks and no damages were expected.   /muf
