Peter Lim no-show at preliminary hearing of drug cases

Suspected drug lord Peter Lim did not show up at the Department of Justice (DOJ) hearing on Thursday for the new preliminary investigation of the drug cases filed against him, self-confessed drug lord Kerwin Espinosa and several others.

Only Lim’s lawyer, Magilyn Loja, together with Espinosa and another suspected drug dealer, Marcelo Adorco, showed up at the hearing.

Loja filed a motion to conduct a separate investigation for her client. The DOJ panel gave the complainant, Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, no later than April 17 to comment on the motion. —JEROME ANING
