Filipino vets get free rides at MRT-3 from April 5 to 11
The Metro Rail Transit 3 (MRT-3) will be giving free rides to Filipino veterans from April 5 to 11.
In an advisory, the MRT-3 management said the free rides would be provided to each veteran in commemoration of the Araw ng Kagitingan, which is celebrated yearly on April 9, and Philippine Veterans Week this year.
One companion of a veteran will also be allowed to ride the MRT-3 for free, it added.

To avail of the free ride, Filipino veterans must present their Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO) identification card upon entry at any MRT-3 station.
Each veteran and his or her companion will then receive a magnetic single journey ticket to ride the train. /kga
