A man’s request for a second round of lovemaking ended up with him stabbing his wife before killing himself in Taguig City on Sunday evening.

Marjay Alcaide died of self-inflicted stab wounds in the stomach while his wife, Richelle, was reported to be in stable condition at the hospital.

In a report submitted to Senior Supt. Alexander Santos, Taguig police chief, the couple went into their room after having drinks with a friend, Kenny Rayos, outside their house at Building BCDA, Pamayanang Diego Silang, Barangay Ususan, at 11 p.m. on Sunday.

Rayos later said she heard Richelle screaming for help, saying her husband had stabbed her with a knife.

According to Rommel, Alcaide’s uncle, the suspect grabbed another knife from the kitchen and locked himself in the toilet. “Let me be, I also want to die,” he told Rommel.

Investigators said Alcaide may have stabbed Richelle after she turned him away for another bout of lovemaking.

Rayos said she overheard Richelle telling her husband to wait, adding, “She really didn’t want to have sex with him again.”
