Fire breaks out in Taguig residential area

A fire broke out in a residential area in Taguig City on Sunday afternoon, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.

Fire Officer 1 Regina Maltivo of BFP District IV confirmed that the blaze is currently burning through a residential area along Western Bicutan, Taguig.

Maltivo said that the fire started around 3:23 p.m. and reached the fifth alarm at 4:33 p.m.


Firefighters are still trying to put out the fire as of posting. /je
