One man from Hong Kong wasn’t pleased about missing his stop as he punched and headbutted the windshield of a double-decker Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB) when the driver didn’t let him go down the vehicle.

The 65-year-old passenger was agitated, resorting to elbowing, punching, pushing and kicking the glass windshield in a violent attempt to break it, as reported by the South China Morning Post yesterday.

The passenger apparently asked the driver to let him down after leaving the bus stop at Tai Wai MRT station on Mei Tin Road. The driver, however, rejected the passenger’s request.

The man, still unidentified, also harassed the driver by pushing him. The driver had left his seat then to call for help using his phone. The windshield finally cracked when the man headbutted it, smearing blood all over the glass in the process. He also tossed one of his shoes out of the bus’ window.

Police eventually arrived to calm the man down. He was then brought to the Princes of Wales Hospital in Sha Tin, New Territories for his injuries.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson from the Kowloon Motor Bus Company Limited said that the bus was taken to a warehouse for repairing. Police officers are also investigating the case. Cody Cepeda/JB
