Malacañang suspends Monday classes in MM due to transport strike

Malacañang suspended on Monday classes in all levels in Metro Manila due to the transport strike.

“This is to announce that classes at all levels in Metro Manila have been suspended today, March 19, at 2:00PM,” the Office of the Executive Secretary said in a statement.

Universities and colleges had earlier announced suspension of classes due to the nationwide transport strike in protest of the government’s planned jeepney modernization scheme.    /muf
