4 alleged shabu peddlers busted in Quezon

LUCENA CITY–Authorities arrested four alleged crystal meth (shabu) pushers in different buy-bust operations in Quezon province on Friday.

The arrested suspects, all included in the police drug watch list, yielded a total of 7.9 grams of shabu worth P51,350 in the street market, Quezon police director Senior Supt. Rhoderick Armamento, reported on Saturday.

A report said anti-illegal drugs operatives in Lucban town busted Alberto Bautista, 57, after he sold shabu to a police asset in Barangay Malupak around 6:30 p.m.

In Candelaria town, policemen collared Michael Guardian, 24, known as “Kobe” to his drug clients in Barangay Malabanban Norte, around 5:30 p.m.

In Lucena, Nelson Concepcion, 42, and Mark Anthony Mariano, 35, both alleged major suppliers of shabu in Barangay 9, were arrested early morning Friday.

Policemen seized nine plastic sachets of shabu with a combined weight of 6.25 grams.
