MANILA, Philippines—Talk about a multi-tasking criminal.

A still unidentified man allegedly tied up two female dentists and robbed them of more than P200,000 worth of cash and belongings then raped one of the victims at a dental clinic in Manila.

The man, Manila Police investigators said, even had his teeth cleaned by one of his would-be victims before perpetrating the crimes.

MPD theft and robbery section reports revealed that the incident happened at around 3 p.m. Thursday, inside the clinic on Pedro Gil Street in Paco.

Police investigators said that before the robbery and rape, the man entered the clinic and sought dental services from the two dentists, aged 33 and 47.

After the prophylaxis, which was given by the older dentist, the man reportedly asked the two if he could wait inside their clinic for his wife, who he said was also having her medical checkup nearby.

The dentists agreed and allowed him to stay at the reception area. However, after an hour-long stay, other patients left the clinic leaving him alone with the dentists.

MPD theft and robbery section investigators said the moment the clinic was empty of other patients, the man locked the main entrance, closed the accordion-type divider, and brandished a fan knife, a handgun, and a tear gas canister then announced the hold-up.

He then proceeded to hogtie with a thick transparent tape both dentists-the older one on the dentist’s chair and her younger colleague near her on the floor.

The man then started ransacking the dental office of P26,500 cash; P150,000 worth of jewelry; three mobile phones worth P19,000; a digital notepad worth P7,500; and a portable DVD player worth P6,000.

But before fleeing with his loot, the assailant allegedly raped the 47-year-old dentist who had treated him.

After the man fled, the dentists freed themselves from their binds and sought police assistance.
