LRT-2 train suffers glitch on Tuesday afternoon

The Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) experienced a service disruption on Tuesday past noon after one of its trains suffered a glitch.

In an announcement made by the LRT-2 management on its Twitter account, it said that a provisional service was implemented from Recto to Anonas (and vice versa) stations due to technical problem in one of its trains.

The service interruption happened at the Katipunan station at 1:45 p.m., the management said.

However, it did not state the cause of the disruption and the number of affected passengers.

Operations of the LRT-2 resumed at 2:00 p.m, the management said. /je
