NBI hikes clearance fee to P130 starting next month

/ 11:43 AM February 24, 2018

Starting next month, expect to pay P15 more for your National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) clearance.

Applicants starting March 12 will have to pay P130 for the clearance from the current P115 the NBI said in its advisory.

According to the NBI, the clearance fee increase was due to the increase in the documentary stamp tax (DST) following the implementation of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law.
