Former rebels to get tour of Luneta, Intramuros

Armed Forces chief of staff Gen. Rey Leonardo Guerrero would lead a welcome ceremony for 241 surrendered rebels at Camp Aguinaldo on Wednesday.

In a statement, the military said the rebels were mostly from Compostela and Davao del Norte provinces.

They were with 683 former New People’s Army members who met President Rodrigo Duterte in Davao City last December.

The rebels would be toured around Luneta Park and Intramuros, the military said. —Nikko Dizon
