5 nabbed in Rizal drug buy-bust

SAN PEDRO CITY-Five people were arrested after police raided a house in San Mateo town in Rizal province early Friday.

A report from the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon (Calabarzon) police identified the arrested suspects as  Kerwin Tumuran, Jeffrey Oblea, Jonathan Matamis, Wilbert Nazareno, and Lester Punez.

The police conducted the buy-bust operation that led them to a house inside Tierra Monte Subdivision in Barangay Silangan around 3:30 a.m.

Recovered from the suspects were four sachets of suspected “shabu” or crystal meth, dried marijuana, and the P500 marked money.
