A low pressure area (LPA) off Eastern Samar will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain in parts Visayas and Mindanao, the state weather bureau said on Tuesday.

Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Davao region will be affected by the LPA located 350 kilometers east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Meanwhile, Pagasa said the Cagayan Valley region would have cloudy skies with scattered rain due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains, Pagasa added.             /kga
