TABUK CITY – A member of the Civilian Armed Force Geographical Unit (Cafgu) was killed in an alleged misencounter with soldiers at Pinukpuk town in Kalinga province last Friday, a belated police report said.

Rashid Alunday died in the clash in Barangay (village) Tagay when his team stationed at an observation post in the mountains battled with what turned out to be a squad from the 56th Infantry Battalion, said Senior Supt. Alfredo Dangani, Kalinga police director.
