9 men nabbed in Marikina buy-bust

Police have arrested nine drug suspects in a buy-bust operation in a residential area in Marikina City.

The Marikina City police, in a report released Thursday, identified the suspects as Louis Apostol, Rodolfo Enriquez, Jhet Canlas, Rommel Enriquez, Marvin Enriquez, Alexander Subrado, Luciano Cambronero Jr., Angelo Azul and Jay-R Esteron, all males.

The report disclosed that Marikina Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) agents staged the buy-bust operation on January 31 on Diamond Street, Homepoint Village, Barangay Fortune.

During the operation, SDEU agents seized seven sachets of suspected shabu, two aluminum foil strips with traces of suspected shabu, two sachets sealed with masking tape with traces of suspected shabu and two improvised water pipe glass with traces of suspected shabu.

Also seized were a pack of empty sachet, a digital weighing scale, a stainless scissor, a black pouch, three pieces of disposable lighter, and five P100 bills.
