Policeman shot dead in Isabela

CAUAYAN CITY — A police officer assigned to nearby Luna town was shot and killed on Monday night in front of his sari-sari store past 7 p.m. on Sipat street here.

SPO1 Eduardo Argonza was drinking with his cousin when he was shot in the head and body by one of two men on a motorcycle.

Argonza, a member of the Luna police intelligence unit, was declared dead on arrival when he was brought to the hospital.

His killer and an accomplice drove towards Labinab road.

Forensic investigators found nine spent shells fired from a 9mm hand gun at the the crime scene. /cbb
