The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) on Thursday said search operations were underway three fishermen who were reported missing since January 15, Monday.

The fishermen, identified as Roselier Doring, Danny Toastomban and John Lloyd Toastomban, went missing after a fishing venture between the waters off Barangay Canday-Ong, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental and Barangay Pasihagon, Siquijor, the PCG said in a statement.

The PCG said the three fishermen boarded an unregistered motor banca, painted green and white, at their home port at Barangay Pasihagon, Siquijor last Monday.
