Due to earlier the eruption, residents from Barangay (village) Anoling, Camalig smell a sulfurous odor and rumbling sounds were heard, the advisory said.

The Philvocs still advised the affected residents not to enter the 6 kilometer permanent danger zone to avoid harm caused by sudden explosions.

Civil aviation authorities were also advised to avoid flying close to the volcano’s summit for sudden eruption might happen, the advisory added. /je
