A Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) train offloaded 240 passengers at North Avenue Station on Christmas Eve because of another “system failure.”

According to the MRT-3’s service report, its southbound train’s Public Address (PA) failed at 6:16 p.m. on Sunday.

“The PA system is the electronic system used by drivers to communicate with the passengers through audio messages/announcements,” the report said.
