3 fishermen reported missing in Eastern Samar

TACLOBAN CITY—Three fishermen from two towns in Eastern Samar had been reported missing in the wake of Tropical Storm “Urduja’s” onslaught, according to provincial officials.

Eastern Samar provincial administrator George Erroba identified them as Pepito Gach Jr., Rogelio Gamalo and Elmer Beruja of Lawaan town.

Gacho and Gamalo had not gone home since they went out to the sea Wednesday, said Erroba in a phone interview on Friday.

Erroba said he had yet to get details about Beruja although family members reported him missing on Friday.# Joey A. Gabieta @joeygabietaINQ
