/ 09:19 AM December 10, 2017

The tail-end of a cold front would bring scattered rains over the eastern section of Southern Luzon, while a northeast monsoon or amihan would be affecting Northern and Central Luzon, the weather bureau said in its forecast Sunday.

Bicol region and the provinces of Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon would experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its 4:00 a.m. bulletin.

Meanwhile, Pagasa said amihan would bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative region and Aurora province, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos region and the rest of Central Luzon.

The rest of the country would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers especially over the eastern section due to localized thunderstorms, Pagasa added. /je
