Obituary: Jose Flores Jr., 82

Jose T. Flores Jr., former spokesperson of the Department of National Defense, died after a lingering illness. He was 82.

Flores, former speech writer of former Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile when the latter was the secretary of national defense, is survived by his wife, Letica Orap-Flores, children, Lelisa, Jopro, Aldrin and Janette, and grandchildren.

Flores’ remains lie at St. Peter’s Chapel on Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City.

Burial will be at Christ the King Columbarium in Quezon City on Nov. 30.
