Woman assaulted, head shaved by jealous husband

KLUANG, Malaysia—A 32-year-old woman was assaulted and her head was shaved by her jealous husband at their Taman Kluang Setia home here.

The housewife called her 63-year-old father who stays in Petaling Jaya, Selangor and told him that she wanted to move in with him at 10:30 p.m. on Monday (Nov 13) following the reported assault.

Kluang OCPD Asst. Comm. Mohamad Laham said the victim only cried to her father, a taxi driver, but did not tell him what happened.

“The next morning, the father received a photo from her daughter’s father-in-law via WhatsApp and saw what had happened to her,” he said.

He said the woman’s 32-year-old husband has since been arrested and drug test showed that he was positive for methamphetamines.

“He suspected his wife of having an affair and decided to take matters into his own hands,” he said. /jpv
