Light rain expected over Metro Manila, nearby provinces

Light rain is expected over Metro Manila and nearby provinces, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pag-asa) said on Monday.

The weather bureau issued an alert that Quezon, Laguna, Rizal, Bulacan, Batangas, Cavite, Bataan and Pampanga will have light rains over these areas within the next hour.

Meanwhile, a low pressure area (LPA) was seen 335 kilometers west-northwest of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, according to an advisory issued by Pag-asa at 3 p.m. /atm
